Are you a driven Senior Devops engineer?

Be part of our team in Thomson Reuters as a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software systems using best practices in quality engineering and Agile methodologies. You'll work closely with product management to understand requirements and translate them into scalable solutions that meet customer needs. About the Role:
As a Snr DevOps Engineer you will:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to define product requirements and translating them into scalable solutions
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including development, test automation, and release management to ensure timely delivery of high quality products
  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust software systems using industry standard frameworks and tools such as Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, GitLab, Azure DevOps, and Kubernetes
  • Drive continuous improvement through effective use of metrics and data driven decision making
  • Ensure high levels of availability by monitoring system performance and responding quickly to any issues or incidents that may arise
  • Identify areas where existing processes can be improved upon to increase efficiency while maintaining stability and reliability


About you:
You'll be a good fir for the Snr DevOps Engineer positionf if your background includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working as a software developer or equivalent
  • Experience working with Java programming language and relevant frameworks such as Phyton Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, etc.
  • Experience working with databases like SQL Server
  • Knowledge of version control tools such as GitLab
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure Devops, Jenkins and Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles including unit testing and integration testing
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to identify root causes of problems
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
