POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Director, Director, Operational Data and AI Analytics the Analyst, operational Insights & Reporting will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting data to provide actionable insights to the business. The successful candidate role will work closely with various departments within the COO to understand their reporting needs and deliver accurate and timely reports to drive business decisions. The incumbent will be responsible for basic analysis and reporting, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data through extensive validation protocols.
CHALLENGES TO BE MET
Analyze data to identify trends and patterns in customer demographics, transaction histories, product performance metrics, market trends, and customer feedback.
Support the sales force with actionable insights by analyzing volume activity, portfolio growth, pricing, profitability, efficiency, horsepower capacity, loan origination processes, delays in treatment/processes, and online/digital activity
Create and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Apply appropriate data techniques to respond to emerging business needs
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data through extensive validation processes.
Collaborate with various teams across the COO to understand data requirements and provide insights that support strategic decision-making.
Ensure data integrity and security by following organizational data governance standards and best practices.
Remain abreast of the most up to date data analysis tools and techniques to provide the best insights to internal stakeholders
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proficiency in SQL, Databricks, Power BI and/or Python.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present data insights clearly. Bilingualism in French and English is a strong asset.
2 years minimum experience in data analysis or a related field.
Foundational data analysis skills.
Strong attention to detail for validation.
Basic proficiency in tools like Power BI.
Growing understanding of business processes.
