Job Description

Health and Safety- Sub Region Lead -Provides leadership and technical resources to ensure business compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental (including product related) government regulations as well as Rockwell Automation procedures. Coordinate assessment and implementation of program conformance need to meet specialized customer EHS program demands and high-risk industry requirements. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the company management system requirements supporting businesses in the region.

You will report to the EHS REGIONAL MANAGER - EMEA, The teams includes 2 people.

Role is located in Katowice - Poland.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support in the implementation and maintenance of the regional environmental and safety management systems to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and company procedures.
  • Participate in and assist with government agencies' field visits to understand the regulations and to ensure compliance.
  • Support, implement Headquarters environmental, health and safety field and non-operations orientated procedures to ensure compliance to the environmental, health and safety permits and regulations.
  • Provide technical support, input and coordination on environmental, health and safety issues that affect projects and processes at the regional/country level.
  • Support completion of environmental, health and safety permits, reports, forms and surveys by regulation or Rockwell Automation policy and procedures.
  • Respond to customer requests for EHS Plans such as safety manual for on-site project work, and support the project implementation plan.
  • Report monthly injury/illness metrics to HQ-EHS; help investigate injury and illnesses; analyze work related injury and illness data to implement actions to prevent a recurrence of the injury/illness; and support efforts to return employees to productive work within assigned medical restrictions.
  • Ensure that environmental, health and safety assessments, personal protective equipment, procedures, training and other control measures by regulation or Rockwell Automation policy and procedures are provided for the field and non-operations personnel.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Education: B.S. in Occupational Safety, Environmental Sciences or Engineering.
  • 3 year's experience related to environmental, health, and safety aspects in a manufacturing or field service organization.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Professional registrations or certification are valued.
  • Fluent English
