ABOUT THE TEAM

Located in our EMEA headquarters in Geneva (Switzerland), the Sales Operations team focuses on sales analytics, process & tools improvements, and general team support.

The department includes 4 people and belongs to the broader European Sales Team (70+ people).

The Sales Operations team develops, implements, and optimizes the processes, analytics, and tools to support the European strategy for both Columbia and Sorel brands.

Meeting this objective will require the team to work in close collaboration with several stakeholders (sales, e-commerce, marketing, merchandising, finance and operations) to deliver best-in-class analytics to facilitate decision-making and to continuously improve our processes and tools to gain efficiency.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Following an internal promotion, we are looking for a new Sales Operations Analyst to join our team. As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of both our e-commerce and wholesale teams. By working closely with these teams, you'll develop powerful, data-driven analytics tailored to their specific needs. Your insights will enable them to identify growth opportunities, streamline processes, and pinpoint areas for improvement, ultimately contributing to the company's strategic goals.

This role is essential in ensuring our teams have access to clear, actionable data that will directly influence key business decisions and shape the future of our sales performance in an omnichannel approach. Additionally, you will support the inventory management strategy to optimize stock levels, maximize revenue, and minimize waste across Europe.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

  • Boost Sales with Data Insights: Collect and analyze sell-through data from European wholesale customers, working with sales teams and partners like SPS. Your insights will help leadership make smart decisions to grow sales and spot new opportunities.
  • Enhance Decision-Making with Performance Tracking: Improve our European dashboard to monitor sell-through trends, compare data, and identify growth opportunities. Your work will help make fast, informed decisions that benefit the business.
  • Drive Revenue through Inventory Clearance: Work with the European Value & Corporate Channel Director to create effective strategies for clearing excess inventory and maximizing revenue with accounts like Zalando Lounge, Veepee, TK Maxx, etc.
  • Optimize E-Commerce Performance: Track and analyze key e-commerce metrics using tools like Adobe Analytics and Power BI. Your insights will shape eCommerce strategies and drive online sales growth.
  • Deliver Reports that Lead to Action: Create and share regular reports on eCommerce performance, offering clear insights to help the team adjust strategies and improve results.
  • Adopt Best Practices for Regional Success: Collaborate with the US eCommerce team to bring proven strategies to the European market, ensuring local success while staying aligned with global best practices.

  • Participate in Projects: Actively participate in cross-functional projects as assigned, collaborating with various teams to deliver impactful results that drive business growth and efficiency.

By focusing on these areas, you'll make a real impact on sales and business success.

YOU ARE

  • Data-driven: You thrive on using data to drive decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Customer-focused: You understand the importance of tailoring your analyses and solutions to meet the needs of your business partners.
  • Problem solver: You enjoy finding creative solutions to complex challenges, always looking for ways to improve processes.
  • Team player and independent: You are comfortable working both collaboratively within teams and independently when needed, balancing both dynamics.
  • Outdoor enthusiast: You share a passion for the outdoors, aligning with our company values.
  • Fluent in English: You can communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.

YOU HAVE

  • Proficiency in Excel and Power BI (or similar data visualization tools): You can create and manage dashboards, turning complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, or in customer service or supply chain functions, preferably within a multinational company.
