About The Role
As a VP, IR Experience Studies and Pricing Oversight within Corebridge you will be responsible for leading the annual assumption unlocking, providing oversight to the IR pricing team and complete the annual IR experience studies. You will have a team of experience study professionals to assist in the experience study and annual assumption unlocking process. The role will report to the Individual Retirement Chief Finance Actuary. Additional responsibilities:
Responsibilities
Lead annual IR Experience Studies and Assumption unlocking process
Provide oversight to the IR Pricing team
Establish and maintain procedures for monitoring experience for existing products
Collaborate with business partners in Product Development, Product
Management, Hedging, Risk, Finance, Modeling, to develop IR Assumptions
Monitor industry trends especially regulatory changes impacting annuity products
Leverage pricing, product, and regulatory expertise to support other areas as needed
Skills and Qualifications
Society of Actuaries – FSA designation
Inspiring leader that create a positive culture while empowering their team to make decisions.
10+ years of Experience with pricing, hedging, or risk managing embedded options within annuities
Experience with actuarial modeling
Annuity product expertise in all relevant product lines
A proven track record of performance in prior roles within the insurance industry
Work Location
If the position is based in one of Corebridge Financials' hub offices which is Houston, TX, Jersey City, NJ. or Woodland Hills, CA office the role is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely. However, we are open to considering full remote candidates outside of these areas.
