2026 Warsaw MI Data – Web Scraping Internship 

A CAREER WITH POINT72’S MARKET INTELLIGENCE TEAM 
On our proprietary research team—Market Intelligence (MI)—you’ll partner with our investment professionals and Compliance team to work with alternative data to uncover insights about companies, industries, and the broader economy through deep fundamental research and applying data science and engineering techniques. You’ll work alongside a talented team with diverse skills, backgrounds, and perspectives. Our sector data analysts, data scientists, data managers, and engineers work together to build compliant research products that are incorporated into the research process of our investment professionals. ABOUT THE MARKET INTELLIGENCE INTERNSHIP 
As a Data Engineer Intern focused on web scraping, you will gain exposure to: 

• Creating web-scraping pipelines based on customer requests
• Extracting and ingesting data from websites using Compliance-approved web crawling tools
• Developing tools, services, and workflows to enhance the speed, efficiency, and stability of scrape development
• Testing data and scrapes to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance
• Identifying and resolving scraping issues and breakages, as well as scaling scrapes as needed
• Partnering with Complianceto ensure scraping activities align with firm standards

SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM AT POINT72

WHAT’S REQUIRED 
• A bachelor’s degree (or expected completion in 2026) in computer science, engineering, or other quantitative disciplines 
• Experience or demonstrated interest in web scraping 
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, etc.) 
• Strong experience in Python development 
• Interest working with data, big data problems, and cloud-based technologies 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards
