Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for day-to-day loan operations activities (bilateral/ syndication), ensuring timely, accurate and reliable processing of loan disbursements, and end-to-end loan life-cycle management
Process and effect accounting entries for Payments/ SWIFT/GL transactions
Reconciliation and investigations of loan transaction/ nostro accounts
Daily Operations in accordance with MAS regulations, Bank Policies and Unit Procedure
Customer
Work in partnership with Relationship Managers and Product Offices to execute requests specifically for loan.
Work in partnership with Branch Credit on credit limit or transaction issues.
Work in partnership with colleagues in Head Office on operating procedures or system enhancement.
Support and coordinate with team to respond in a timely matter to auditors and regulators.
People
Maintain strong collaboration with team members, including offshore colleagues, to support daily operations
Others/ Controls
Develop recommendations for continuous improvement and support implementation.
Input/ approve daily transactions including in accordance to bank's policies and guidelines.
Prepare and generate periodic report including but not limited to financial, exceptional handling and loan overdue report.
Support organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and systems
Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.
Job Requirements:
Degree with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in loan operations/ credit admin
Strong communication and presentation skills
Sound knowledge of operation to support transaction, loan processing
A self-starter and problem solver with initiative and a strong drive to achieve quality work
Proficient in MS Office suite of applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
