Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day loan operations activities (bilateral/ syndication), ensuring timely, accurate and reliable processing of loan disbursements, and end-to-end loan life-cycle management

• Process and effect accounting entries for Payments/ SWIFT/GL transactions

• Reconciliation and investigations of loan transaction/ nostro accounts

• Daily Operations in accordance with MAS regulations, Bank Policies and Unit Procedure

Customer

• Work in partnership with Relationship Managers and Product Offices to execute requests specifically for loan.

• Work in partnership with Branch Credit on credit limit or transaction issues.

• Work in partnership with colleagues in Head Office on operating procedures or system enhancement.

• Support and coordinate with team to respond in a timely matter to auditors and regulators.

People

• Maintain strong collaboration with team members, including offshore colleagues, to support daily operations

Others/ Controls

• Develop recommendations for continuous improvement and support implementation.

• Input/ approve daily transactions including in accordance to bank's policies and guidelines.

• Prepare and generate periodic report including but not limited to financial, exceptional handling and loan overdue report.

• Support organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and systems

• Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Degree with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in loan operations/ credit admin

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Sound knowledge of operation to support transaction, loan processing

• A self-starter and problem solver with initiative and a strong drive to achieve quality work

• Proficient in MS Office suite of applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
