As our Senior Business Analyst you will be embedded within the software delivery teams elaborating new work, populating the product / service backlog, and enabling the Product Owner. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Elaborates small packages of work for the delivery team

• Ensures work delivered by the team fulfils the objectives 

• Is able to, lead small teams, being accountable for the quality of delivery.

• Is able to, facilitate workshops to build collaboration between project team members.

• Liaison with Product Owner and project Stakeholders during design work.

• Liaison with key roles within the project team to deliver the requested requirement. 

• Takes initiative to keep skills up to date

Competency/Skill requirements

Essential

• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (e.g. Systems, Software, Hardware, Safety, Security etc)

• Good Business Analysis knowledge across all aspects of Engineering including Requirements, Architecture, Design, Integration, V&V, Decommission.

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Highly-organised with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent numerical skills.

• Competent in PowerPoint and face-to-face presentation delivery.

• Strong customer orientation.

Desirable

• Experience of applying Business Analysis in Defence and Security sectors 

• Experience with Confluence, Jira/Gitlab
