The Washington Post Creator team seeks a creative senior editor to shape overall social strategy for Washington Post Creator, leading social video editing for our creator host and expanding our presence across multiple channels with our creator partners. This role blends hands‑on video editing, audience development and platform strategy to connect creator storytelling to new audiences.
Washington Post Creator is expanding how fact-based storytelling connects with audiences across social and emerging digital platforms, creating new opportunities for engagement, community growth, and brand relevance. This role leads the social video editing and audience strategy efforts for Washington Post Creator, ensuring content is optimized for platform-native storytelling while expanding reach and engagement across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads, Facebook, and future platforms.
The position plays a critical role in translating editorial storytelling into compelling social experiences that grow audience loyalty, strengthen creator partnerships, and elevate The Washington Post’s presence in the creator economy. Through a combination of creative execution, audience data insight, and strategic experimentation, this role helps shape how The Post reaches new and evolving audiences in a rapidly changing media landscape.

The salary range for this position is:
$109,200 - $182,000 AnnualThe actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. This position may be eligible for a bonus or incentive program, and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will discuss bonus payment terms and conditions during the interview process.
