As a Network Planner for our Baxter Thetford Plant you will evaluate materials and resource availability in a timely manner, responsible for inventory levels, releasing production orders as needed, coordinating builds and providing status updates to management. Playing a key role within the supply chain to use their knowledge of planning and inventory management to ensure Baxter customer orders are delivered accurately and according to schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Formulate & Communicate short to mid-term tactical plans that balance supply & demand
Align transfer orders to demand and send to ERP &/or local shipping system for execution
Review transfer order exceptions and cancel, decrease or postpone orders if necessary
Apply scenario planning & collaboration, demonstrating rapid response functionality and tools
Collaborate with Plant Schedulers, Demand planners, W&D, Market Planners, Cluster fulfilment, Commercial & Manufacturing to resolve supply risks & issues
Lead OPLAN review with key partners
Support the Network manager with regional and/or Global SI&OP input.
Monitor supply chain performance, review & approve planning parameters and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Be accountable for achieving Inventory targets
Provide input to Financial planning and forecasting processes
Experience required:
Experience in supply chain management - warehousing, distribution, logistics, transportation, customer service or inventory planning would be preferred
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain preferable but not essential
Strong analytical skills and ability to judge when to deep dive –
Proven collaborator management skills (including influencing, communication negotiating)) and experience in a geographically diverse, matrix organization.
Basic Project management skill and lean/continuous improvement.
Procurement planning: in-depth understanding of how to control inventory levels based on Re-Order Point/Lead Time/safety stock
Demand, Sales & Operations planning
Understanding of all aspects of the financial impact of supply chain activity including profitability, turns, service level & inventory control
Solutions driven with the ability to simplify the complex & drive speedy optimal business scenario planning & decision making

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The minimum salary for this position is 136 000,00 PLN annually. Your initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors, all of which are subject to change.
