Practice: Village Vet (Chiswick)

Hours: Full time, 42 hours, NO WEEKENDS, NO NIGHTS, NO ON-CALL

Salary: Up to £34,600, depending on experience

Village Vet are seeking an experienced and confident Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to work across our West London Village Vet Practices.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN that enjoys variety and the opportunity to build relationships whilst supporting the delivery of nurse focussed care across our cluster of West London practices which include Chiswick (W4) Queens Park (NW6) St Helens (W10) Brook Green (W14) Brackenbury (W12) Kensal Green (NW10) and West Hampstead (NW6).

The successful candidate will enjoy the additional benefits of being part of our team, with the variety of working across different sites to help meet the needs of the business. Salary reflects the additional travel and the requirement for flexibility. 

Our nurses are highly valued members of the team who are key to the continued success of the business. They have strong input into the nursing care of all patients and are encouraged to utilise their skills in managing in-patients, conducting nurse-led clinics, undertaking Schedule 3 procedures, monitoring anaesthesia, assisting with surgeries and carrying out all associated peri-operative care.

This role would suit an RVN wishing to join a talented, inclusive clinical team who support each other and genuinely enjoy working together. Developing and empowering our nurses is very important to us. As a Linnaeus Associate, you will have access to over 150hours of pre-recorded CPD. We run a range of modular courses, that are fully funded covering a variety of topics   such as our Association of Veterinary Anaesthetists (AVA) accredited anaesthesia and analgesia modular course, our bereavement course, canine and feline courses and nurse consulting course.

The Nursing Career Framework is designed to support career progression and development and supports clinically focussed pathways and a people leadership pathway.

CPD including advanced qualifications is actively encouraged as this facilitates development of the veterinary nursing teams to ensure the team are fully utilised and able to work at the top of their licence.
