Business Management Analyst

Description -

Job Summary
You will be part of the team managing WW PS category business planning, business management process and business insight and analysis. You will help / contribute on BMS Planning, including weekly MOR and BOR. You will coordinate reports / data analysis and provide insights on HP performance. You will act as a key advisor to Business Management team in influencing the strategic direction of the business. You will contribute to drive right business discussions with right content during BMS reviews with strong business acumen. You will contribute to some business presentations shared afterwards with top HP executives. You will interact with a large number of teams (Markets category, Business Management, Finance, GBU, Product Management, Supply chain, Marketing, Alliances, …) and you will drive and coordinate teams work to meet the timelines and expected deliverables.


Responsibilities
• Manages complex data and business analysis to develop business plans and make recommendations.
• Works independently to construct complex statistical and financial models to forecast business performance.
• Defines the metrics required to measure business performance, compares actual data to forecasted values, and develops the process for identifying and addressing performance gaps.
• Manages complex, time-sensitive market research projects and synthesizes data and information to identify relevant trends and next steps.
• Identifies, cultivates, and fosters new business opportunities and relationships to increase revenue and enhance profitability.
• Contributes to priority projects with complex analysis and assists in developing recommendations.
• Works closely with business leaders to develop business plans based on historical and forecasted data and reports.
• Develops go-forward business plan recommendations based on potential risks and returns.
• Identifies cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key business decisions.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in strategy, planning, operations, market research, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.

  • Fluent in English
  • Technical and data manipulation skills Ability to leverage new analytical way to develop creative approaches to business analysis, Extensive knowledge and understanding of how to analyse business problems using Excel, statistical analysis, and financial modelling
  • Business and Financial Acumen' Strong business and financial acumen to develop meaningful business recommendations. Understands the portfolio aspect of HP's products/services and how the businesses work together.
  • Execution Management' Collaborates effectively with HP BUs and value chain partners to ensure operational responsiveness to challenges, and alignment with business imperatives
  • Change Management' Develops methods for supporting innovation and change across the organization.
  • Problem Solving- Approaches problems in a rational manner using sound strategies that ensures comprehensive understanding and effective resolution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to prepare Executive presentations with key messages, story and in a concise way
  • Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting
  • SQL knowledge needed as you will help on Sellout reporting / analysis for the company impacting WW and all markets
