The Opportunity
As a Nashville - Tax CPA - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic learning environment, gaining exposure to the complexities of the global tax landscape. Within our Tax practice, you will support our dedicated tax professionals in optimizing tax strategies, minimizing risks, and seizing opportunities for our clients. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to driving compliance and sustainable growth while staying ahead in an ever-changing tax environment.
As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will support teams by performing basic tasks and conducting research, while observing professional work environments. This role emphasizes the importance of taking both observational and participatory roles on teams, allowing you to develop your personal brand and build commercial awareness.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply a learning mindset, actively listen, and express ideas clearly. You will gather information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns, contributing to the team's success. Responsibilities
- Supporting tax teams in delivering tailored tax services to optimize client strategies
- Participating in research and analysis of complex tax regulations to assist in compliance and planning
- Observing and learning from experienced tax professionals to gain exposure to industry-specific challenges
- Assisting in the preparation of tax documentation and reports for client engagements
- Engaging in basic tasks to contribute to project goals and team success
- Applying a learning mindset to develop personal skills and understanding of tax practices
- Gathering information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns in tax data
- Collaborating with team members to navigate the complexities of the global tax landscape
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
