About The Position:
Under the direction of the Senior Director of Library and Information Services, the Information Services Specialist provides technical support and assistance in performing library duties in one or more library specializations, including access services, outreach, and technical services. The position will assist the director with library acquisitions, assisting with the classification and organization of materials, and processing interlibrary loan requests for medical materials.

AWSOM Library is focused on providing services and support to the greater campus community with a “patron first” mentality. The position may require early evening and weekend hours during high points in the campus calendar.
Minimal physical demands on a daily basis. Requires frequent handling of books and other library materials and pushing loaded book trucks. On an irregular basis, position may involve walking, pushing a loaded hand truck, shelving materials, moving materials on and off shelves.
