Position Title: Wardsperson -Multiple Positions Available

Employment Type: Permanent Full-time

Hours per week: Up to 38

Position Grade:  Wardsperson (Year 1/2)

Salary: $57,564.22 to 57,967.56 base salary per annum

Enterprise Agreement: The Named NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations’ Health Employees Agreement 2019

About the role:
About the role: vacancy exists in the above unit for a highly motivated Wardsperson with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. Our progressive and innovative team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high quality patient centred care. The successful applicant(s) will be expected to be able to provide transportation of patients, undertaking of limited duties associated with the care of patients and general assisting in wards.

1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia

2.  Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team

3.  Effective written and verbal communication skills with computer literacy

4.  Demonstrated awareness of health and safety principles

5.  Demonstrated awareness of infection prevention principles

6.  Demonstrated initiative, self-reliance and flexibility

7.  Possess CPR accreditation or willing to obtain
