About the Role:

Join Fieldguide as a Software Engineer Intern where you’ll help create technology that empowers professionals and reimagines the future of accounting. As part of our collaborative engineering team, you’ll work on a platform that serves thousands of users daily, gaining hands-on experience with the latest in AI and machine learning. If you’re passionate about building meaningful tech and looking to make a real impact in a startup setting, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with experienced engineers to design and launch impactful new features for our AI-powered platform.

• Engage in the full lifecycle of software development, from initial concept to deployment.

• Leverage the latest technology to address complex workflow challenges in accounting.

• Drive innovation in AI/ML initiatives, helping to automate and enhance our platform’s capabilities.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions, supporting continuous improvement.

• Gain exposure to best practices in engineering and startup operations, expanding both your technical and professional skills.

About You:

• Currently a Junior or Senior student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong foundational knowledge in programming and computer science principles.

• Curious and adaptable, with a passion for learning and experimenting with new tech.

• Interested in AI and ML, with a focus on impactful, real-world applications.

• Detail-oriented and analytical, with a drive to solve complex problems.

• Excellent communicator and collaborator, thriving in team environments.
