Café Casual Recovery Worker
Location: Old Moat Garden Centre
Working Hours: As and when required, including weekends and bank holidays
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £13.45 per hour
As a Café Casual Worker at The Old Moat Garden Centre and Café, you will support the day-to-day running of a welcoming café environment within a mental health and wellbeing charity, Waythrough.
You will work alongside Café Supervisors and team members to deliver excellent customer service, prepare food and drinks, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The café also plays an important role in supporting individuals in their recovery, offering a positive and inclusive space to build confidence and develop skills.
This is a flexible, zero-hours role with shifts available across weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays.
You will be someone who is approachable, reliable, and enjoys working as part of a team. You’ll take pride in creating a welcoming environment and be comfortable interacting with a wide range of people, including those accessing support services.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work flexibly are key to thriving in this role.
Please note: The salary listed reflects the full earning potential for this role. Starting salaries depend on experience and progression within the band.
