Summary: As an Application Lead, you will be responsible for leading the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve working with AWS Architecture, Python, and PySpark to engineer and maintain platforms for optimal performance and scalability. Roles & Responsibilities: -15+ yrs of experience in Data Engineering, AWS Platform and integration areas. Should have deep technology and client delivery background. Able to drive solution, delivery and client engagements independently for 50+ team members. Python, Pyspark, AWS Storage, compute and integration services knowledge is essential. Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering, Error Budget will be an added advantage - Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and reliable platforms using AWS Architecture, Python, and PySpark. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve platform issues, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. - Develop and maintain platform documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and operational procedures. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in platform engineering, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: AWS Architecture, Python (Programming Language), PySpark. - Strong understanding of platform engineering principles and best practices. - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible. - Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK Stack and Prometheus. - Solid grasp of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Platform Engineering. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful platform solutions. - This position is based at our Mumbai office.
