Key Responsibilities:
Drive change and overcome obstacles
Utilize hands-on experience in process troubleshooting the converting operation
Assist with the development of standard operating conditions for production equipment
Analyze plant data using techniques that can include: Statistical process control, Six Sigma (6σ) DMAIC methodology, and Root cause analysis (RCA)
Provide financial justification for possible equipment upgrades
Develop and maintain best practices library for processes while ensuring plant compliance
Direct and coordinate activities at the plant level in order to meet the quality expectations of the customer
Provide support to plant operations with miscellaneous engineering and capital project management
Analyze/review plant operations to submit quantifiable cost savings ideas while improving cost performance against budget
Lead and assist project teams in implementing, standardizing, and sustaining process inefficiencies while reducing variation
High focus on process standardization and process controls that achieve the expected benefits and ultimately improve internal and external customer satisfaction
Coordinate and lead Printpack Performance System initiatives
