SUMMARY:
The Customer Service Specialist (CSS), Receptionist assists visitors of Alternate Solutions Health Network (ASHN) by greeting, welcoming and directing them appropriately. They provide courteous and professional phone support to customers and ensure that calls are directed appropriately.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
2+ years’ experience with multiple-line phone in a high-volume setting is required
Front desk or receptionist experience is preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat and ability to learn new software systems/databases
Exemplary communication skills and customer focus is a must
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Ability to follow directions and work as a team member
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Greet and welcome guests and direct them to the appropriate person
Provide professional and courteous assistance to callers, visitors, employees and patients
Answers telephone inquiries and assist callers by asking questions to direct phone calls appropriately
Look up patient information to ensure calls are given to the appropriate department/agency
Receive and sort daily mail and deliveries
Direct outside vendors (i.e. maintenance, food vendors, etc.) to the appropriate location or company representative
Maintains security by following procedures and monitoring guest log
Flexibility for weekend rotation is required
