This is a management position that contributes and achieves results through others. The role is responsible for managing CNC team in professional jobs or managing through subordinate managers / supervisors. Job requires comprehensive understanding of the concepts and principles in CNC field.  The requirement for a broader knowledge implies the need to understand other concepts and principles in context in order to resolve issues that have an impact beyond the area. The job has full management of a team, including management of people, defining roles and responsibilities, planning for the department's future needs and operations, counselling employees on performance and contributing to employee pay decisions or changes. This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and a minimum of 3 or more years experience.

Join Our Team as CNC team leader.

Are you ready to lead a dynamic team of engineers in an exciting greenfield project at our new Stryker manufacturing site in Skawina? You'll mentor and guide a team of talented engineers, providing strategic direction and technical expertise to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project, stakeholder, and people management efforts, ensuring successful delivery within quality, time, and cost constraints.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align with divisional objectives and contribute to the development of new products.

  • Develop skills matrix and provide training and coaching to team members to enhance technical proficiency and teamwork.

  • Provide direction and support to overcome challenges, facilitate issue resolution, and ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety standards.

  • Identify, hire, and manage people to validate and release new processes/equipment in line with company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline required.

  • 5 years of engineering experience in regulated CNC manufacturing environments.

  • 2-5 years of leadership experience or significant project management expertise.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.

  • Proven ability to coach and mentor individuals for technical and professional development.

  • Experience in new product introduction within regulated environments preferred.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and analytical techniques.

  • Knowledge of GD&T, statistical methods, and product validations is advantageous.

  • Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in MS Office suite.
