The Chief Data Office (CDO) is looking for a project manager to help drive planning, execution and communications for a portfolio of data strategy initiatives. The CDO project manager should have hands-on experience running global projects covering technology, business transformation and regulatory compliance in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate has foundational knowledge of data management concepts and principles, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-based environment with frequently evolving priorities. This role will coordinate with Business and IT stakeholders as well as external vendors across global locations. 

As a CDO project manager, you will be responsible for -

  • Defining project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Developing and maintaining roadmaps and project plans with milestones, dependencies and releases of complex multi-phase, multi-region programs/projects
  • Supporting and maintaining program/project level governance control procedures, such as resource utilization, change control and financials
  • Identifying delivery risks and issues and facilitating resolution
  • Tracking & analyzing financials, budgets, allocations and forecasts throughout planning and execution cycles
  • Ensuring project artifacts are audit ready and compliant with CIS and SDLC policies/procedures
  • Creating and delivering project status reports and presentations to program sponsors, senior management and other stakeholders
  • Collaborating with global PMO counterparts to maintain overall budget and tracking for the entire CDO book of work

Qualifications

BA / BS degree

7+ years of overall experience and minimum of 5 years of Project/Program Management experience, preferably in financial services

Strong experience in SharePoint, Clarity, JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, MS Powerpoint and other project management tools 

Practical knowledge of systems development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile

Exposure to data governance/ data management concepts

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary Range:

$100,000 - $160,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
