Job Description :

This role will have responsibility for overseeing initial setup, certification and ongoing performance of all aspects of lab medicine at Methodist Celina. This role will also have the responsibility of building a team of professionals to manage our blood bank services for the campus.

- Experience in CLIA/CAP accreditation strongly preferred

- Formulates plans, organizes resources, directs personnel and develops policies in the Pathology Laboratory as directed by the Medical Director.

- Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week line responsibility of the department and sections of the laboratory to ensure implementation of the medical/clinical programs.

Methodist Celina Medical Center is located on a 40+ acre campus just off of Dallas Parkway, and will serve as the community’s first full-service hospital, serving Celina and surrounding communities. The four-story medical center will open with 51 beds, with plans for expansion, and will feature a range of services including cardiology, women’s services, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and more. The campus will also include a 40,000-square-foot medical office building.
