As a Sales Department Intern at Medtronic, you will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment. You’ll begin your day by collaborating with the sales team, contributing to sales support operations, and participating in cross-functional meetings. You’ll assist with Public OR&ICU updates, data analysis, and administrative tasks that provide both strategic and operational insight into the medical device industry. This internship is a unique opportunity to develop your skills and make an impact in one of the world’s leading healthcare technology companies.
Internship details:
• Start date: October
• Duration: 6 Months
• Working hours: 40 hours per week with flexibility (exams and holiday period)
• Working model: hybrid
• Location: Ankara
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
• Work in close collaboration with the team members and support the sales part of Training and Educational (T&E) programs
• Assist in organizing and supporting activities during local congresses and events
• Learn and contribute to the product allocation process to ensure efficient distribution
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams on ongoing projects to support business goals
• Provide operational support to the sales team on the Blue Room Project, support development and daily management of the Blue Room, track progress of the training participants and training outcome
• Assist in sales data analysis, reporting and administrative tasks
Required Knowledge
• Fluent English and Turkish is required (preferred as B2 or above)
• Recently graduated or about to graduate with bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferably biomedical engineering, electrical engineering and relevant departments)
• Strong verbal & written communication skills, willingness to work as a part of a team
• Experience in MS office (Power Point, Word, Outlook)
• Good MS Excel skills
• Good analytical skills with the highest level of integrity
• High level of empathy and adaptability
Would be a plus:
• Proven understanding of the medical device and healthcare systems’ specific
• Advanced knowledge in Share Point and creation pivotal tables in Excel
