You will be responsible for coordinating QA activities for IT projects in a fast-paced environment, assisting in and implementing both manual and automation test strategies. You will ensure that requirements are testable, write and execute both manual and automated tests, and support the approved test strategy. This position will contribute to project efforts for high-quality deliverables according to the team’s goals and the client’s priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage over 5 years of QA testing experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical test cases for thorough coverage of new features, balancing manual and automation testing techniques.
- Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test scripts that clearly articulate test objectives, steps, and expected results, ensuring all functionalities are thoroughly validated.
- Assess and prioritize test scenarios to determine which tests should be automated and which should remain manual, focusing on maximizing efficiency and coverage.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
- Work independently to achieve goals in a fast-paced agile team environment.
- Utilize defect tracking, test cases, and test requirements in Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Apply a wide range of software test engineering concepts, including testing principles, defect tracking, risk analysis, and root cause analysis.
- Generate suitable test data to validate critical requirements and business rules for both manual and automated tests.
- Collaborate closely with testers and development teams to ensure effective implementation of test cases/plans.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of agile development and its best practices.
You Need to Have Experience With:
- 5+ years of QA testing experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work closely with international clients. Minimum B2 level (upper-intermediate).
- CTFL - Certified Tester Foundation Level.
- Experience with both manual testing and automation testing, with a focus on knowing when to automate.
- Experience with automation using Selenium, .Net C#, especially for REST APIs
- Proficiency in test automation tools/frameworks with RestSharp, TestNG, JUnit, NUnit
