DESCRIPTION:
Join our collaborative team as a Lead Packaging/Labeling Technician at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll manage pharmaceutical secondary packaging operations while contributing to global healthcare.
Manage the creation, revision, and approval of secondary packaging materials (cartons, labels, inserts, sleeves, etc.).
Coordinate artwork development and updates, including variable data (GTIN, serialisation, market-specific requirements).
Initiate and manage change controls related to packaging materials.
Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
Assess technical feasibility of packaging materials on production lines (dimensions, print positioning, readability, compatibility).
Maintain and update material master data in ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
Interface cross-functionally with Regulatory Affairs, QA, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and external customers.
Support new product launches, market updates, and variation projects.
Manage communication with packaging material suppliers.
Provide support during audits and inspections related to packaging documentation and controls.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated packaging environment.
Knowledge of GMP and change management processes.
Familiarity with artwork management and variable data requirements.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
