DESCRIPTION:
Join our collaborative team as a Lead Packaging/Labeling Technician at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll manage pharmaceutical secondary packaging operations while contributing to global healthcare.

• Manage the creation, revision, and approval of secondary packaging materials (cartons, labels, inserts, sleeves, etc.).

• Coordinate artwork development and updates, including variable data (GTIN, serialisation, market-specific requirements).

• Initiate and manage change controls related to packaging materials.

• Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.

• Assess technical feasibility of packaging materials on production lines (dimensions, print positioning, readability, compatibility).

• Maintain and update material master data in ERP systems (e.g., SAP).

• Interface cross-functionally with Regulatory Affairs, QA, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and external customers.

• Support new product launches, market updates, and variation projects.

• Manage communication with packaging material suppliers.

• Provide support during audits and inspections related to packaging documentation and controls.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated packaging environment.

• Knowledge of GMP and change management processes.

• Familiarity with artwork management and variable data requirements.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
