Who are we?

At Finastra, we’re a global leader in financial services software, dedicated to expanding access to financial services and shaping what’s next for the industry. Our technology powers mission‑critical solutions across Lending, Payments and Universal Banking, supporting over 7,000 customers, including 80% of the world’s top 50 banks, in more than 110 countries.

Disclaimer:

Finastra has signed an agreement to sell its Universal Banking business to Pollen Street Capital, with completion expected end 2026 / early 2027, subject to consultation and customary closing conditions. Upon completion, this role is expected to transition to the standalone Universal Banking business, creating opportunities to support its future growth and success.

About the Role

We are building the next generation of corporate banking capabilities using a composable domain service approach. This represents a shift away from monolithic core systems towards modular, domain-aligned, API-first services delivered incrementally.

As Product Manager for Corporate Banking, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy across cash management, liquidity, and corporate lending domains. You will lead the design and delivery of a modern, scalable platform that supports how banks manage liquidity, deliver cash services, and service lending products.

This is a senior, domain leadership role, combining strategic ownership, delivery oversight, and team leadership. You will manage a team of Product Owners and Business Analysts and play a central role in shaping the evolution of the broader corporate banking portfolio.

The role reports to the Head of Lending Portfolio, within the CPO organization.

Domain Scope

You will own a range of capabilities spanning:

Liquidity & Cash Foundations

  • Nostro Management

  • Bank Limits

  • Notional Pooling

  • Credit Lines (liquidity context)

  • Cash Operations

  • Virtual Accounts

Corporate Lending

  • Bilateral Loans

  • Syndicated Lending

Future Expansion

  • Structured Deposits

  • Securities

  • Potential extension into Trade Finance and adjacent domains

You are accountable for ensuring these capabilities are delivered as cohesive, domain-aligned services, not fragmented point solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and own the product strategy across cash, liquidity, and corporate lending

  • Establish and maintain a sequenced, value-driven roadmap aligned to business priorities

  • Drive alignment between domain capabilities and overall platform direction

Domain Leadership

  • Act as the domain owner for Corporate Banking capabilities within the Lending portfolio

  • Ensure clear domain boundaries and strong alignment across liquidity, cash, and corporate lending

  • Champion a modular, reusable service model across all delivered capabilities

Delivery Oversight

  • Lead delivery across multiple squads through Product Owners and Business Analysts

  • Ensure consistent backlog quality, prioritisation, and execution discipline

  • Balance short-term delivery with long-term platform integrity

Team Leadership

  • Line manage and develop:

  • Product Owners

  • Business Analysts

  • Establish strong ways of working across product and engineering

  • Build domain capability and depth within the team

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner closely with:

  • Head of Lending (portfolio direction and priorities)

  • Engineering and architecture leadership

  • Commercial and sales teams

  • Support client engagement, including validation of roadmap and capabilities

Commercial & Market Alignment

  • Ensure product direction reflects market demand and client needs

  • Contribute to positioning and adoption of corporate banking capabilities

  • Support go-to-market considerations where required

What Success Looks Like

  • A clear, credible roadmap spanning liquidity, cash, and corporate lending

  • Strong alignment between strategy, backlog, and delivery across domains

  • High-performing team of Product Owners and Business Analysts

  • Delivery of reusable, composable services that support multiple use cases

  • Measurable progress in building a modern corporate banking platform

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in banking or financial services

  • Strong domain expertise across at least two of the following:

  • Liquidity management

  • Cash management / transaction banking

  • Corporate lending

  • Experience leading product delivery across multiple teams or domains

  • Strong understanding of agile product delivery models

  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills

Desirable

  • Experience with corporate or core banking platforms

  • Familiarity with API-led and event-driven architectures

  • Exposure to domain-led or composable platform strategies

  • Understanding of adjacent domains such as securities or trade finance

Working Model

You will lead a domain-aligned product team consisting of:

  • Product Owners aligned to sub-domains (e.g. liquidity, cash, lending)

  • Business Analysts supporting domain analysis and delivery

  • Engineering squads delivering domain services (indirectly through our CTO organisation)

The role requires a balance of strategic thinking, hands-on engagement, and organisational leadership.

Our Approach

We are building using a composable domain service model:

  • Domain-aligned, modular service architecture

  • API-first and event-driven design

  • Cloud-native deployment
