Job Summary:
The Oracle Cloud WMS Solution Architect designs and delivers scalable warehouse management solutions using Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud. The role partners with business stakeholders, supply chain leaders, IT teams, and implementation partners to translate operational requirements into effective functional and technical designs aligned with enterprise architecture, integration strategy, performance goals, and digital transformation initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Solution Architecture & Design
Lead end-to-end solution design for Oracle Cloud WMS.
Define warehouse process architecture across inbound, outbound, inventory, wave planning, labor, and yard management.
Design scalable, high-performing configurations.
Prepare functional and technical design documents (FDDs/TDDs).
Conduct blueprint workshops and requirement sessions.
2. Implementation & Delivery Leadership
Drive full lifecycle implementations (Design, Build, Test, Deploy, Hypercare).Guide WMS configuration.
Oversee data migration strategy and execution.
Ensure alignment with enterprise governance and architecture standards.
Provide production support and continuous improvement inputs.
3. Integration & Technical Oversight
Architect integrations with ERP, Transportation Management, Order Management, automation systems (MHE/robotics), and 3PLs.
Define API, REST, SOAP, and file-based integration strategies.
Oversee Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and middleware platforms.
Ensure performance, scalability, and security compliance
4. Stakeholder & Client Engagement
Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders
Translate warehouse operations into system capabilities
Present architecture solutions to leadership
Support pre-sales activities including demos and RFPs
Mentor functional and technical team members
5. Governance, Quality & Best Practices
Define configuration, coding, and documentation standards
Conduct design reviews and solution validations
Ensure compliance with Oracle and industry best practices
Manage risks, dependencies, and change impacts
