What you will do:
The Demand planner will own the SEA demand planning & management process to help designated business units to achieve higher service level through improving demand forecast accuracy by collaborative demand planning process and influence Sales and Marketing based on data analytics. This role is part of the Company Global Supply Chain Organization and will work together with other stakeholders to drive the demand planning of the S&OP process for Asia markets and deliver the KPIs. Key job responsibilities include managing Demand Forecast Accuracy, Demand Forecast Bias as well as Product Portfolio maintenance.
This role is also critical to support global projects to standardize, streamline and align Demand planning process and measurement across the responsible entities.
How you will do it:
Collaborate with sales & marketing team to gather quantitative and qualitative forecast, new product launches, promotional plan.
Conduct historical analysis to provide insights into future forecasts.
Validate demand requirements, perform risk assessments, and monitor performance against demand plans
Conduct monthly pre-S&OP at SKU level across SEA Region entities.
Publish Consensus Demand Plan to Inventory and Supply Planning Team through Logility.
Manage and maintain the effectiveness of the statistical forecast by adjusting/cleansing historical demand and determining appropriate levels of aggregation for calculating the statistical forecast in Logility.
Report and analyze forecast performance metrics to measure forecast accuracy, assess forecast bias, and identify the root cause analysis to forecast variance.
Analyze sales trends based on business activity to improve in accuracy, inventory, and service levels.
Product portfolio management and maintenance and ensure Phase In/Out schedule in alignment with Inventory/Supply management team.
Diligent on demand analytics and analytics with logical sense and ability to influence sales & marketing base on analytics.
An effective communicator and team player to work cross-functionally – lateral and horizontal.
Able to remain focused and work under pressure, prioritize competing demands and deadlines whilst multitasking.
Able to communicate effectively to influence across functions with stakeholders.
What we look for:
Preferably completed tertiary studies in Bachelors in Business / Engineering from an Institute/University of repute
Relevant experience in Demand or Supply Planning process in a complex multi plant supply network.
Minimum 3 years of relevant post qualification experience in reputed Organizations (Global MNCs) with relevant experience in Demand planning, forecasting or analysis.
