Summary: As a Test Automation Engineer, you will utilize quality processes, automation tools, and methodologies to enhance testing products and solutions. Your typical day will involve running the end-to-end quality engineering function, focusing on automation to improve control, accuracy, and integrity in the testing process. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that the automation strategies align with the overall project goals and contribute to delivering high-quality software products. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Completing assigned testing and analysis tasks - Own work items, update and track through JIRA - Adopt best practice with enthusiasm and effective collaboration - Assist in the investigation and resolution of problems - Collaborate with other teams to improve process and provide effective service to our customers - Identify, recommend and take forward improvements. - Own personal development plan, aligning to team needs and goals Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Micro Focus LoadRunner. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies. - Understanding of core types of testing and why they are important - Understanding use of Performance Centre and different scripting methodologies and where they may be applicable - Understanding of development in multiple protocols and languages, e.g., Java, JavaScript - Be able to develop an understanding of enterprise application & architecture - Understanding Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills/tools - Understanding of version control SVN/GIT/Nexus - Basic understanding of performance tuning and scaling across technologies/stack Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Micro Focus LoadRunner. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
