HOW YOU WILL DO IT

Purpose Statement:   Provide day-to-day support of Business Development teams, Customer Management teams and other support functions to drive funnel growth, accurate and timely reporting and other tasks as needed by the market sector teams.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Account/Opportunity Qualification: Support account/opportunity qualification against the established market sector criteria.  Ensure a timely hand-off of qualified accounts and opportunities.
  • Account Analysis: Compile and analyze relevant account information, including revenue and other financial data as required by the Market Sector team. Maintain additional information on customer and target accounts, based on Market Sector requirements.
  • Lead Generation: Analyze inbound and support internally developed leads
    based on products, revenue (if known), geographic location, etc.
  • Standard Practices: Create global standard practices and work.  Participate
    and develop tools/ processes to support continuous improvement initiatives to empower the sector team and functional groups and sites with timely and meaningful information and intelligence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and marketing, to develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns and product positioning strategies.
  • Manage company’s CRM tool; maintaining data integrity, approving future enhancements, developing reports from exported data, and training new employees.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in business, finance, or quantitative-related field is preferred.  

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

Other Qualifications:  

  • Strong understanding of business concepts and financial analysis, cost models and contracts and negotiation.
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills and ability to conduct business and financial research and analysis. Must be able to understand, summarize and explain complex technical, technological and business concepts.
  • Ability to interact in a cross-functional team with both formal and informal lines of authority. Must be able to operate effectively in a multi-cultural, global environment.
  • Strong problem solving skills with capacity to think at the strategic level.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of all customer and company information.
  • Ability to follow through on assignments with little to no supervision. Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with senior-level decision makers.
  • Experience in EMS or engineering design environment is desired.

Physical Requirements:  

  • Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
