Do work that matters
You will be an experienced Application Packaging Engineer with a focus on quality, a keen interest in customer satisfaction and a thirst to learn as well as share knowledge. You will be joining a team accountable for delivering applications to over 60K physical and virtual Windows endpoints.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have expertise in the following areas:
Application Packaging
Create Windows Installer (MSI, MSIX) packages as required with specific adherence to best practices and the Windows Installer SDK, Install, configure, migrate, and manage SCCM and Intune environments.
Liaise with software Custodians/SMEs/vendor to obtain relevant information/packages and installation media and perform Troubleshooting and UAT
Software Deployment
Manage end to end software deployments via SCCM, leveraging change management protocols and having minimum impact/conflict on deployment schedule with any business priorities.
Engaging in various Service Management processes, including Incident, Request, Change, and Problem management, as required.
Standards & Solution Design
Custodian for maintaining Definitive Media Library, application packaging environment and refining packaging standards documentation
Identify inefficiencies and champion changes that promote effective work practises
Support
Provide 3rd level support ensuring responses and resolutions are within the agreed SLAs
Proactively address problems to reduce the risk of incidents and outages
Promote knowledge sharing though documentation, wiki articles and other interactions with colleagues
Actively assist with issues in Problem Management
We’re interested in hearing from people who possess the following:
Scripting/Automation (PowerShell, VBScript)
Applied knowledge in the following areas: Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP, Virtualisation (VMWare VDI, V-Sphere, Hyper-V),
Familiarity with ITIL concepts and experience using ITIL-based ticketing systems (preferably ServiceNow)
Identifying, managing and remediating threats and Vulnerabilities. (Qualys)
Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
Reporting and Documentation - Create, design, test, and publish comprehensive deployment reports using SSRS, Power BI, Excel, and other tools. Maintain and update standards documents, including packaging guidelines, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting guides, ensuring they are easily accessible and follow best practices.
