About The Team
A strong consulting cloud engineer possesses deep cloud platform expertise, excels in communication and problem-solving, and demonstrates business acumen to deliver effective and optimized solutions for clients. They are proficient in DevOps principles, security best practices, and possess a strong understanding of cloud-based data solutions. Furthermore, they have a consultative approach, effectively translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to understand their existing architecture and collaborate on cloud migration strategies, including implementation plans and readiness assessments.
- Spearhead technical discovery, solution design, and implementation processes. Develop and manage thorough technical documentation during all project phases.
- Develop and provide cloud architecture diagrams for presales and project implementations.
- Design cloud architecture diagrams. Create runbooks, assessments, and templates. Develop optimal, safe, and compliant solutions.
- Create documentation and standardize solutions to optimize functionality, safety, and compliance.
- Improve processes and provide customer support.
- Mentor and cross-train colleagues to foster a collaborative and knowledgeable team.
- Proactively follow up on technical queries and provide timely feedback.
Required Skills
- Fluency in Spanish and/or experience in Latin American based customers.
- 4+ years experience as a Cloud Engineer/Architect
- Experience architecting, deploying and managing cloud infrastructure
- Advanced knowledge of software and network configurations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes, and containerization processes
- Experience in configuring logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
- Experience implementing client-to-site, site-to-site, and high availability VPNs
- Certification in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in DevOps and Big Data
- Degree in computer science, systems engineering, or related technical area
- Hands on experience with with the Google Cloud Platform
- Proficient in building and automating data pipelines using tools like Airflow, Kafka, and Spark to process large datasets. Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data quality.
- Proficient in deploying and managing cloud-based data solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP, using services like cloud storage, data warehousing, and managed data processing.
- Experienced in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps to automate and accelerate software delivery.
Interview Process
