Job Summary

The New Business Agent will initially concentrate on learning about our operations and product offerings. From there, responsibilities include all aspects of policy administration, providing knowledgeable support to our insureds, contributing to marketing strategies, and developing efficient internal processes. Our ideal candidate will find the opportunity personally satisfying and financially rewarding to create value in the day-to-day operations and continually improve our marketing, service, systems, and operations.

This is an onsite role requiring onsite attendance in our Sacramento office Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm PST.

Position Responsibilities

  • Field inbound sales leads and walk-in traffic.
  • Follow up with prospects.
  • Underwrite products and provide quotes based on customer needs.
  • Process inbound payments received over the phone, mail, online, or fax.
  • Work with the carrier to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Assist clients in updating their accounts and policy-related items.
  • Additional duties as the departments needs change.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft products.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales experience preferred. 
  • Ability to work onsite in our Sacramento office Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm PST.

 

This role also offers bonus pay. Your ISC Talent Acquisition representative will share more details about the bonus component should you advance in the interview process.

 

The starting hourly pay scale for this position is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, training, and experience. In addition, the company offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with match, paid time off, and other benefits.

ISC's salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

National Pay Range
$20$25 USD
