Job Description:

Position Title: Rotational Pharmacist
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
Hours per week: 38 hours per week plus weekend and on-call work as per roster
Position Grade: Pharmacist Grade 1/2
Salary: $77,790.72 - $115,143.27 base salary per annum
Enterprise Agreement: The Named NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations’ Health Employees Agreement 2019

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled pharmacist with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. You will be involved in the department’s core activities including drug dispensing and distribution and provision of drug information to patients and practitioners. We will provide orientation and training and help you develop skills in clinical pharmacy practice, dispensing, drug distribution and drug information.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia

2. Current Pharmacy Registration with AHPRA with no restrictions on scope of practice and ability to provide weekend and on-call out of hours service as per roster

3. Demonstrated competence in clinical drug knowledge and demonstrated commitment to professional development

4. Demonstrated understanding of formulary management and application of formulary decisions

5. Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as demonstrated effective interpersonal skills including the ability to consult with other health professionals and patients

6. Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to prioritise workload in a busy environment

7. Excellent organisational and time management skills as well as attention to detail and accuracy in undertaking all tasks

8. Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
