Position Summary

**Qualified Candidates will sit in Southern Nevada**

Aetna is looking for a Medicare Sales Broker Manager to join the southern Nevada sales team that drives and achieves sales results through an assigned Nevada hierarchy of independent Medicare brokers.

Responsibilities include:

- Develop and execute market strategy impacting the recruitment, onboarding, engagement, sales/retention, and compliance adherence of assigned broker base.

- Utilize the deployment of various tactics such as face-to-face, telephonic, and written communication methods and information management.

- Strategize and prioritize broker relationships according to their ability to meet or exceed expectations. Makes recommendations to management on brokers plan preferred designation.

- Facilitates appropriate market resources and/or connections to assist in broker driven lead generation activities, sales and service support.

- Responsible for onboarding new brokers by supporting their navigation of contracting, certification, and training requirement.

- Facilitates broker trainings through face-to-face, individual/group meetings including web-based.
- Responsible for ensuring broker adherence to all CMS and Aetna guidelines by monitoring compliance with state, federal, and health plan regulatory requirements.

- Maintains all files associated with broker contracting, including broker agreements, reporting, coordination of response to broker-related complaints, broker commission payments, etc.

Required Qualifications

Live in southern Nevada or surrounding area.


- Minimum 3 years sales experience working with insurance brokers

- Ability to communicate effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Maintain in good standing state required licenses and training requirements
- Travel as needed (majority within local area)


Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Medicare Advantage, SSI or Medicaid product sales or operations.

- Microsoft experience, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

- Health & Life License, AHIP Certification

- Bilingual in Spanish

Education

  • College degree or 5 years equivalent work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,400.00 - $126,582.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
