Job Purpose

To assist Medical Governance Manager in ensuring that the organization’s internal processes, systems and policies are in compliance with government regulations and GSK standards. Uphold a high standard of governance, medical integrity, and ethics throughout the organization.

Education, Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences (Preferred: Pharm-D)

  • 6 months - 1year prior experience in healthcare industry or related field

  • Attention to detail

  • Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards

  • Strategic thinking

  • Communication and presentation skills

  • Integrity and professional ethics

  • Comprehensive technical skills, excellent command on MS Office

  • Teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Medical Governance Manager in developing local policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GSK standards and local regulations

  • Under supervision of Medical Governance Manager, develop appropriate training programs and materials to support training needs of GSK staff

  • Utilizing existing systems tools and ways of working to enable effective, consistent and compliant delivery of HCP Engagement activities across the Local Operating Company (LOC)

  • Collect, authenticate, and appraise historical documents and archival materials. Maintain archives for the collection for easy retrieval of information for upcoming audits. Maintaining documentation compliance and retention to required standards

  • Liaise with cross-functional Medical Affairs and Marketing team for smooth execution of relevant Business Plans as per the GSK standards

  • Assist in the delivery of level 1 quality framework audit (checklists) to detect compliance discrepancies, areas of risk and implement corrective and preventive action as needed and support in level 2-3 audits

  • Supporting Medical Governance Manager in a culture of continuous process improvements through regular end to end process reviews

  • Collating and monitoring of Medical Affairs performance metrics/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Work closely with Legal and Compliance departments to ensure the organization meets and maintains regulatory standards

  • Provide Medical Governance Manager administrative support to complete specific assigned projects. Monitor service parameters including deliverables, timelines, quality etc.
