Our engineers and presale business development managers bring to life the innovative communications solutions that make a difference in the moments that matter. The Sales Business Development and Engineering Group has the costing, technology and design responsibility for all sales support engagements nationwide.


Job Description

Our SI Specialists Intern work to ensure that the our sales professionals and customers are kept up to date on the latest technology offerings from Motorola Solutions and their relevance to customer needs. Our Senior SI Specialists support their colleagues to enhance both individual and group competencies, including mentoring junior SI Specialists Intern. We expect our SI Specialists intern to operate as professionals and take responsibility for their development including professional and technical skills needed for their success as an SI Specialist.

The Junior Systems Integration Specialist Intern assists with the development and implementation of the presale process for public safety solutions. Candidates will coordinate departmental and cross functional teams, focused on delivering accurate and timely proposals. Junior SI Specialists will assist projects from identification of the presale opportunity and proposal inception to transition of the project to the post-sale team.

Candidates will be responsible but not limited to the following:

  • Ensuring that projects are completed on time and in conformance with relevant requirements

  • Work with the other business groups, these key individuals are responsible for identifying upcoming opportunities, evaluating requirements, identifying specific statements of work, producing detailed project schedules & insuring the proposed customer solution will be implemented with the best possible strategy

  • May assist in the development of business plans, strategies, and approaches to take advantage of business opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred emphasis in Wireless Technologies, business development, project management is desired

  • Excellent communications skills and the ability to present complex topics to non-technical audiences

  • Self-motivated and able to maintain focus in a pressured environment

  • Experience working with customers is desirable

**This role requires a hybrid schedule in Allen, TX**

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree with a graduation date on or after December 2025.
