Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.IMED Maternity has a total of 60 beds, split between two floors. We care for the high risk patient population within the valley. We have 24/7 physician support with residents on-site. Within our unit, we promote growth for our nurses and offer future opportunities, if interested, as a specialized nursery nurse (this would include becoming NRP certified.) Our nurses typically work in primary care assignments of 3 couplets which allow them time to connect with patients as they oversee cares. We have tech support on the unit to help with various tasks and patient care. We have a great team who really promotes team work both on our unit, but between ancillary departments as well.
Full time, 36 hours a week, nights
