We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to manage all HR activities in Eastern Europe Cluster countries (Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Lithuania, Latvia, Romania, and Hungary). This role ensures alignment with global People strategy while complying with local labor laws and supporting business objectives. You will act as a strategic partner to leadership and a trusted advisor to all line managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Cluster and countries HR priorities aligned with global People strategy and priorities and ensure complete compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • HR related actions within the scope and advise and act as a trusted partner for Cluster Robotics Leadership team, motivate and advise Cluster HR team on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management to create an environment conducive to effective collaboration.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention programs. Identify the capabilities needed to meet the current and emerging business needs of the organization.
  • Coordinate talent management, succession planning, and learning initiatives in accordance with Global People Strategy
  • Implement competitive C&B strategies, ensuring market-aligned pay structures / governance and oversee payroll, HRIS, and HR operations for accuracy and efficiency in accordance with Global People Strategy
  • Champion initiatives for employee engagement, well-being, and inclusion, enhancing ABB Robotics’ employer brand in accordance with Global People Strategy.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with worker councils and unions, labor officers and other govt. authorities to ensure continuous operations. authorities to ensure continuous operations.
  • Monitor HR KPIs and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Represent the company in external HR forums and partnerships.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years in HR, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Extensive knowledge of Polish labor law and HR best practices.
  • Proficient communication skills in Polish and English.
  • Leadership, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work in a challenging, international environment.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Customer-focused and results-driven.
  • High intercultural sensitivity and collaboration skills.
  • Structured approach with attention to detail.
  • Collaboration and action orientation
