Job Description Summary:

This position provides general nursing care to patients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team. He/She is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

7 Yellow provides care for all types of patients. The types of patients we care for are Med Surg Tele level of care and vary from Ortho/Trauma to Gen Med patients. We also have a secondary unit (SSU2) that is not mandatory but an option for RNs if this interests you. SSU2 operates M-F from 1000-2230 and provides care for post operative patients as well as ED and Direct Admits. This space functions very similarly to a Rapid Admission Unit.
