Activation Executive

Reporting of the Role

This role reports to Group Activation Manager

Overview of job

The Activation Executive will work alongside and support Activation Managers generating revenue for key clients across their specialist agencies. The Activation Executive will be responsible for a series of tasks from responding to day to day briefs  to coordinating detail for our Specialist partners such as competitive analysis, overshow and playout reports, organising site tours, requesting and sharing campaign photography, updating internal databases and use of Global/industry planning tools. 

You will take ownership of key accounts from an implementational perspective seeing campaigns through from planning to activation via traditional and automated trading routes with our specialists, ensuring you are maintaining weekly revenue tracking for your business unit.

You will work alongside the Activation manager within your patch to ensure you are delivering best in class service day to day, and an overall crucial support for the team.

Measure of Success
In the first few months, you would have

  • Demonstrated a strong understanding of all Global products and environments and able to clearly articulate the sales benefits of each.

  • Understand the wider Global and DAXO portfolio

  • Build strong relationships and rapport with your key contacts at Specialists

  • Fostered a relationship with your internal teams and built an efficient way of working

  • Use internal systems effectively

Responsibilities of the role

  • Administration of bookings including: - supplying production requirements, co-ordinate campaign photography and share with agency contacts, site tour documents, post-campaign analysis

  • Updating internal systems/ dashboards

  • Ability to use audience measurement tools, revenue dashboards and industry data tools (Nielsen and Aureus)

  • Sharing market updates weekly

  • Responding to briefs/ helping to build brief responses

  • Assisting in presentations/meeting prep including competitive analysis, sector trends

  • Integration with other Global departments and commitment to ‘One Global’ culture

  • Have detailed knowledge of Global portfolio and feel confident when communicating with Specialists on our formats

  • Ensure you deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day business. Supporting your team with tasks to enhance our offering and the way we service our clients

  • Understand and contribute to delivering weekly, monthly and quarterly sales targets across your sales team and floor.

  • Have an enthusiastic and can-do attitude in a difficult economy and support the commercial directors in key department initiatives to build a ‘One Global’ culture

Experience

  • An interest in the UK media market place.

  • Proactive sales approach and able to deliver creative and innovative solutions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Thorough understanding of the key challenges we face commercially and how we may overcome these

  • No formal qualifications required

  • Clear communication to a wide variety of role types including to customers

  • Excellent teamwork

Technical skills

  • Ability to use Keynote, PowerPoint, Excel,

  • Good understanding of the application of industry measurement tools – Route

  • Ability to pick up new systems and tools (guidance provided provided)
