Position Summary...

What you'll do...

We’re looking for a motivated Manager to join our dynamic Sales Center of Excellence (SCoE) team. The Manager, Sales Strategy has excellent process management and analytical skills, understands and fosters teamwork, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. This exciting opportunity is a great fit for candidates who are curious, responsible with their time, comfortable with ambiguity and entrepreneurial environments, and able to develop excellent partnerships with teammates in the BD, Central Ops, Tech Ops, and Data Foundations teams at Walmart Data Ventures. The role is located in either Bentonville, AR or San Bruno, CA and reports to the Senior Manager, Sales Strategy.

You’ll sweep us off our feet if you have…

  • BA/BS or equivalent 4-year degree required
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales strategy, operations, analytics,  business consulting or data analytics with strong project management skills
  • Experience working with business partners on Business Development or Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Technology teams
  • Technical expertise in Excel (can perform complex functions), Salesforce, Power BI, Power Automate, or similar technologies, and the ability to write complex SQL queries
  • Experience leading analytical projects including design, execution, visualization, and presentation of findings
  • Natural curiosity combined with the ability to communicate complex topics in simple terms
  • The ability to self-manage and excitement for identifying new opportunities to generate insights that support Walmart Data Ventures GTM operations
  • MBA or similar quantitative graduate degree is preferred but not required

You’ll make an impact by…

  • Generating and combining quantitative and qualitative insights to drive strategic planning, operational decision making, and our overall sales approach
  • Defining KPIs and other metrics used to measure and drive business performance
  • Creating reporting packages and dashboards related to sales performance, effectiveness, and efficiency
  • Building and maintaining the foundation for our reporting capabilities in partnership with our Tech Ops and Data Foundations teams
  • Conducting ad hoc analyses related to pipeline management or growth in new markets and recommending solutions to pressing business issues
