Temporary Accounting Specialist

The Temporary Accounting Specialist is responsible for carrying out a variety of tasks related to the recording and reporting of financial transactions.

Portland, OR

Your Challenge:

  • Assistance with A/P processing (including ProCard reports) and vendor payments
  • Manual 3-way matching
  • Bi-weekly A/P payment runs including ACHs and wire
  • Wells Fargo Bank discount vendor system tracking
  • VMI invoice tracking for two specific vendors
  • Cash Receipt Postings
  • Process card credit payments as needed
  • A/P related reconciliations
  • Assist in the tracking of inventory transactions throughout the accounting system
  • General administrative duties
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Performance requires physical attendance
  • Other duties as assigned

Your Expertise:

  • 2-6 years’ experience or more preferred
  • Transactional Accounts payable and invoice processing
  • Experience using MAS 200 (Sage) ERP highly preferred
  • Must have strong accounting skills and proficiency with Excel and Word
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using and working with Crystal Reports helpful
  • Experience with Sage 100 helpful
  • Team player
  • Attention to detail and quality orientation a must
  • Ability to organize work for efficient and effective processing
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
  • Must be able to self-organize workloads and manage all deadlines
