About The Team
Dubbo is a regional hub for a lot of smaller towns and communities and a great base to explore Western NSW. Home to the Dubbo Zoo and many other attractions. Great café culture and easy living – limited traffic, affordable living. Approximately 60 – 70% of your clinical appointments will be onsite with a fleet of vehicles available for community appointments. This role is being advertised as part time, but there may be some degree of flexibility with the hours worked.
Working within a smaller team means that you will be given opportunities to experience with a diverse caseload leading to accelerated clinical skills. This also means more flexibility in delivering services to clients and opportunities for creativity and innovative practice.
Varied client caseload – 50% cerebral palsy, 50% other diagnoses including ASD, global developmental delay and other physical disabilities; the majority of our caseload (approximately 70%) is children aged 0-14 years
You will be supported by comprehensive and adaptive clinical education support including onsite visits and virtual supervision sessions. Successful applicants will also have the option of undertaking the Allied Health Rural Generalist Pathway which is fully covered by CPA and will enable the therapist to spend up to 1 day per fortnight focusing on their studies during work time

What We're Looking For:
Relevant qualifications in Speech Pathology
Evidence of current SPA registration or a willingness to attain it.
A current driver's license.
