The Sales Support Analyst 1 is a trainee professional role. Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. . Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Makes evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. They are expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents. Must be able to exchange information in a concise way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team job.

Responsibilities:

  • Applies good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.
  • Assists with the administration of compliance procedures and control process for the business department; monitoring, consolidating, and responding to compliance related inquiries from business teams.
  • Supports salesforce and Management to implement recommendations concerning changes, improvements, and enhancements.
  • Makes evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information.
  • Responsible for execution of multiple production support functions to fulfill product requirements for clients internal process monitoring and control.
  • Support in local regulatory reporting preparation, consolidation; procedure and policy communication; MCA and other control activities.
  • Provides day-to-day internal communication client servicing, handle and provide timely response to teams’ query on process control. resolution to client issues.
  • Completes all assigned tasks on a timely basis with minimal supervision.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Previous year relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience in analysis and problem solving with acute attention to detail.
  • Organized, efficient and detail oriented, able to deliver qualified results under tight timelines and in high-pressure situations.
  • Proactive attitude to learn and push for innovation.
  • Strong understanding of banking business and process control is preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills, effective communication skills (written and verbal) and proven analytical/problem solving abilities.
