Summary

• Must have knowledge of Production Planning Control Process in a Manufacturing setup.

• Should have Experience in SAP PP Module & excel based Production Planning.

• Exposure to HVAC industry will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement & maintain Master Production schedule (MPS) based on sales orders & capacity.

• Close co-ordination with other departments like sourcing, quality control, stores and production for timely action to execute daily production plans successfully.

• MRP Runs: Executing material requirement planning to ensure all components for the sales order are available.

• BOM Management – work closely with the Design/Engg./Production department to ensure accurate Bill of Material.

• Production order creation: Converting planned orders to Production orders once capacity and material is confirmed.

• Order Picking: Generating transfer orders or warehouse orders.

• Daily/weekly work orders based on Schedules.         

• Monitor real time progress on the floor, ensuring adherence to the planned schedule and adjusting for any breakdowns and material shortages.

• Act as a liaison between sales, procurement and quality to ensure a seamless workflow.

• Lead time management – to ensure realistic delivery dates

• Proficiency in Production planning software and tools (ERP/SAP Systems).

• Should have strong knowledge of SAP and Microsoft excel.

• Should have knowledge of MRP planning in SAP.

• Preparing various types of MIS reports.

• Should be able to create & maintain BOM, routing, material master and scheduling in SAP.

• Ensure smooth implementation of ECN/ECO.

• Monitor & manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess.

• Responsible for achieving departmental KRA like Customer OTD/ Inventory/Sales Target etc.

Requirements

• Should possess 7-8 years’ experience in Production Planning; preferably in Manufacturing/ HVAC domain.

• Hands-on experience with ERP– SAP PP module.

• Proficiency in MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint.

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Any Graduate preferably Diploma/Degree in Engineering.
