For our BU Grid Automation, we are looking for a Sales Specialist to join our Marketing and Sales team! Our company is committed to diversity and inclusion, and we are looking for a talented Sales Specialist to join our Zagreb Office. In this role, you will be part of a strong team of professionals within a business in the forefront of Grid Automation marketing and sales organization in the Balkan region. How you’ll make an impact:
You are accountable and responsible for pipeline generation for GA portfolio
You support customers during bidding, project execution/closure and cash collection within assigned geography/ zone
You add value for the customer and HITACHI ENERGY and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques.
You communicate details in accordance with HITACHI ENERGY offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions).
You define the most suitable technology and product type(s) to be used based on application characteristics and define the configuration in accordance with bid commercial needs and requested quality metrics
You promote and grow sales for PGGA products and services portfolio
You establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promoting customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and aligning to provide a solution. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
Conducting business with safety and integrity
Your background
Master’s degree in Engineering (electrical) or recognized equivalent
Minimum of 5+ years in marketing/ sales of Grid Automation – GA (protection, automation, communication technologies) in preferred sectors Power utilities/ Oil and GAS / Railways/ Metros/ EPC/ End users as a system as well as product
SAP and Salesforce Experience are a plus
Reading and understanding engineering drawings are a plus
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Excellent knowledge of Croatian and English language
Driving license
Time management, co-ordination, accuracy, attention to detail and performing in a pressure environment are necessary

Strong communication skills and team spirit
