We are looking for a motivated Software Engineering intern who is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field.  This position will offer hands-on experience in front-end development with an emphasis on React.js.  As an intern you will have the opportunity to work together with our development team to contribute to Proofpoint industry leading Email Protection Administrative Portal.

Job Requirements

Must Have Skills:

• Basic understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, HTML, and CSS
• Familiar with JavaScript concepts such as functions, arrays, and objects
• Familiar with RESTful API service concepts
• Basic understanding of HTTP protocols
• Willingness to learn new technologies and development practices
• Strong communication skills to work with team members effectively

Nice to Have:

• Experience with React component lifecycle
• Exposure to Redux or state management tools
• Familiar with TypeScript, Webpack, Babel
• Experience with Material-UI
• Experience with source control tools such as Git/GitHub

Candidate Profile:

You have the ability and interest in working full-time (a maximum of 38 hours/week) this summer and part-time (a maximum of 20 hours/week) for 9 months after in correspondence with the company’s hybrid policy. You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree and are successfully maintaining an above average GPA. This summer internship is scheduled to start this summer and end in 2026.
