Trouw Nutrition is seeking a Warehouse Worker for our Westlock location.

About The Role: Our unionized Warehouse Worker provides exceptional customer service and optimizes inventory movement.

Responsibilities: 

• Handle product movement and customer service by loading feed, receiving orders using a forklift, and assisting customers with their pickups and inquiries

• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and yard through general housekeeping duties, restocking feed in the Mill Store, and managing the outdoor compound

• Support inventory management by assisting with regular stock counts

• Ensure an efficient and safe workspace by collaborating with team members to maintain workflow and adhering to all safety and organizational standards

• Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and contributing to a positive, customer-focused operation

Skills and Expertise 

Qualifications: 

• Agricultural industry experience is an asset

• Physically capable of lifting 25 kgs feed bags

• Demonstrated commitment to customer service

• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment

• Great organizational skills

• Forklift experience is an asset

Expectation from the Role: 

•This is a full-time role, Monday-Friday (8am-5:30pm) with occasional Saturdays
• Ability to regularly bend, twist, climb ladders, open/close lids and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a dusty, noisy, and variable-temperature environment
• Use of personal protective equipment (e.g., hard hat, safety boots, etc.) as required
• Capable of operating equipment and working at heights when required
